Superintendent's Message

Students, parents, and Bulldog community: I certainly never thought that we would still be in a world wide pandemic in September 2021, but here we are with the Delta Variant of the COVID 19 virus baring down on us.  We at Fulton Independent Schools are striving to provide options for students and parents that meet all needs but currently, the most important need is to keep students safe AND in school. In-person instruction is what's best for kids. They need the person-to-person instruction, camaraderie with friends, and assistance and guidance with school work. We have a mask mandate at Fulton Independent School and we are seeing that this works. The few students that have tested positive or been quarantined have contracted the virus or have been exposed to the virus from outside of the school. This tells us that our mitigation strategies are working. Please review MITIGATION PLAN and give me a call with any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for trusting us with your students. We cherish them and pledge to provide them an excellence educational opportunity. Please call me at 270-472-1553 (office) or 270-627-2264 (cell).  I love to hear from parents and students.
