We want to address a rumor that has been circulating regarding Fulton High School. FULTON HIGH SCHOOL IS NOT CLOSING. Our school is open, we are preparing for an outstanding school year, and we remain committed to providing a quality education for every student.
Our faculty and staff are working hard to ensure a successful start to the school yer, and we are excited to welcome our students back. Thank you for your continued support of Fulton Independent School District.

We are proud to announce that Fulton Independent School District has been awarded the USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) Grant for the 2026–2027 school year!
This grant provides a minimum award of $14,850 to serve our PreK–8 students, allowing us to offer free fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the school day. The FFVP helps students develop healthy eating habits by introducing them to a variety of fresh, nutritious produce in a fun and engaging way.
Thank you to the Kentucky Department of Education Division of School and Community Nutrition and the USDA for supporting our students and helping us create a healthier school environment. We can't wait to see our students enjoy this wonderful opportunity!

The Fulton Independent Middle School Girls' Basketball Team would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the longtime Letica family and co-workers for your generous donation made in memory of Coach Charlotte Johnson.
Your thoughtful gift not only supports our student-athletes but also serves as a lasting tribute to Coach Johnson's legacy of dedication, leadership, and love for the game. Her impact on countless young athletes and our community will never be forgotten.
We are truly grateful for your kindness and generosity. Your support helps provide opportunities for our girls to grow both on and off the court while honoring the memory of a coach who inspired so many.

There will be a Parent Pre-school Meeting on July 2nd, 2026 to inform all the parents of the changes to the program and updates on the upcoming year.
For the convenience of your schedules. there are two meetings scheduled, however you only need to attend one.

Fulton Independent's Family Resource / Youth Services Center, The Family Connection FRYSC, has been awarded funds from the United Way of Western Kentucky for the 2026-27 school year that will support the United Way grocery program. Fulton Independent families have benefitted from this program for several years. FRYSC coordinator Tracy Pulley said "Food costs remain high as wages are stagnant. The United Way grocery program is a huge help for our children and families."
The Family Connection FRYSC has been a funded partner of the United Way of Western Kentucky since 2024.

Fulton Independent FRYSC coordinator Tracy Pulley was selected by United Way of Western Kentucky as the 2025-26 winner of its Live United Impact Award in the Education category. She received the award at UWWK's Victory Celebration, held at the Walker Hall event center in Paducah.
Pulley was nominated by Fulton County Extension agent Anna Morgan for her faithful work and dedication to the children and families of the Fulton Independent School District.
Pulley has served Fulton Independent as coordinator of The Family Connection Family Resource / Youth Services Center for 21 years.
