Location: Fulton Independent Board of Education Office
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 hours per day, 205 days per year
Compensation: $13.43 – $17.13 per hour, based on the Board-approved pay scale

Position Overview:
The Fulton Independent Board of Education is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position will provide direct administrative support to the Director of Special Education (DoSE), the Director of Pupil Personnel (DPP), and the Supervisor of Instruction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing for the DoSE, DPP, and Supervisor of Instruction
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to student services, attendance, instruction, and special programs
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community members in person, by phone, and via email
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district policies and procedures, including FERPA and HIPAA regulations
• Support compliance with state and federal reporting requirements
• Manage office supplies and equipment needs, and assist with basic budgeting and purchase orders
• Perform other duties as assigned to support district operations and educational programs
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in an administrative or school office setting preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and general office technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
