All incoming kindergarten students and families are invited to an orientation session on Monday, August 4 from 5-6 p.m. at Carr Elementary.
Park in the back lot, at the corner of North College and Second streets. Enter through door #12.
Meet K teacher Tara Phillips and tour the classroom. Learn about school procedures ---
morning drop-off, afternoon pickup, communicating with the front office, special programs.
Child care and refreshments provided.
All students take home educational items that will help with daily learning, provided with United Way of Western Kentucky funds.

Professional Learning In Action
Today, Fulton Independent partnered with our amazing coaches from Kids First to dive deep into our High-Quality Instructional Resources (HQIR).
We are proud to be a district that invests in our teachers, because they invest so much in our students.
Today’s focus: the Science of Reading across all grade levels. From foundational skills in the early years to advanced literacy strategies in upper grades, our educators engaged in meaningful learning to strengthen reading instruction for every student, every day.
Our Literacy Team and Administrators showed up with commitment, energy, and a shared goal: making this the Best Year Yet for every Bulldog learner. 💙🐾

We hope this continued support helps ease some of the financial strain for our families as we prepare for another great year ahead.
Students will only need to bring:

Today’s throwback Thursday highlights the senior officers of the class of 1987!
Only 36 years ago class president Todd Warren, vice president David Kephart, secretary/treasurer Tonya Bennett and public relations offices Todd Butts and Amie Fahl roamed the halls of Fulton High School.
Please help us in congratulating Josiah Alford !
Recipient of the James O. Butts Scholarship, Josiah Alford, will receive a $500 award to assist in his higher education journey.
Josiah Alford, a graduate of Fulton Independent High School, plans to attend Murray State University and major in Computer Science. Alford is an honor student and was active on the school Academic Team and Yearbook.
